The optimization application iOPT_OPT permits the integrated optimization of trade and production. With iOPT’s extensive library of model elements it is possible to model any energy system – thermal, hydro-thermal, or combination systems. The planning horizons range from the immediate future for operations management to several years. In addition to classical optimization, either with or without integrated risk management, maintenance planning, stability and sensitivity analyses may also be carried out.
Due to its high degree of flexibility and modularity, iOPT may be used for industrial plants, regional suppliers, and large utilities.
